Building Peace in the Streets of Chicago
Emcee Skool Peace Ambassadors highlighted
in the February 2022 Rotary Magazine
COVER STORY!

Check out the article in the February 2022 of The Rotary Magazine
where the cover story features the Emcee Skool Peace Ambassadors

The Rotary Club of Chicago Southeast was able to support this innovative approach to building Peace in an urban setting which pulls upon the history and active use of Spoken Word and Hip Hop. In partnership with the Rotary Club of Trans Amadi (Port Harcourt, Nigeria) and the assistance of Rotary Clubs and Districts from around the world (list below) a Rotary Global Grant for $50,000 was secured to provide much needed structural support to this grassroots effort to directly address the issue of violence in the communities of Chicago
